Constantinidis Estate: the history
In 1960, Stavros Constantinidis, a businessman from Thessaloniki was activated in the field of textile manufacture and, thanks to the instigation of a friend, visited Pefkohori of Cassandra.
The beauty of the landscape fascinated him and he, therefore, decided to buy a piece of virgin land in this location. Thus, he gradually acquired the "Constantinidis Land" of an area of 180.000 sq.m.; today, this land is the region's reference point.
The land stretches from the sea, where the front is 500 meters of white sand, up the slopes of the hills of Cassandra and is crossed by two roads, a municipal and a public one.
The land was used for cultivations which were of extremely great importance for certain regions of Halkidiki. Today, there is a large olive grove which contributes to the natural beauty of the area.
Stavros Constantinidis and the architect Christos Kouloukouris have been friends with mutual appreciation for the past 30 years and have collaborated on the implementation of several technical projects with various objects. The use and development of the Constantinidis land has been their subject of discussion and debate for a very long time. The common ideas and views between the owner and architect regarding the principles of land use was the starting point which led to the implementation of a fully aesthetic and technical project. A complex of luxury villas in Greece that is characterized by the maximum standards of modern living, the preservation and promotion of the natural landscape as well as the respect to the cultural tradition of the place.
